The temperature was starting to dip in October as autumn's frost started to set in. The people out on the streets were starting to put on thicker layers of clothes as the weather had a hint of winter in it. Despite that, the selection finals were still going on heatedly at the province's Ministry of Sports' training hall.
This year's selection finals were way more happening than the previous years. That was because the annual National Champions Cup would be held in their province this year.
Therefore, the provincial team paid particular emphasis toward this year's team. Out of their existing swimmers, there were some that were slightly weaker in some events. As such, they wanted to seek out some new talents to fight for a champion's title for the province.
Because of that, the training hall's situation was different from the day of the preliminary heats. There were many spectators for the finals, and the entire viewing area was filled.
