"How goes Ming Yue? Any news about her?" Elder Xiang asked.
Several of the elders perked up at the mention of her name, curious about the answer. However, the Grand Elder shook his head when he answered.
"No, it seems that her training is still not over. I'm not sure when she'll come out."
The Sword Elder didn't seem too sad about it, rather there was a sense of confidence within him.
"It's been nearly a year since she went in. The fact that she hasn't left yet means that she must've figured out how to fix her lifespan. Either that or she broke through", he said.
Elder Huang neither confirmed nor denied such things.
"The longer she stays in there, the stronger she becomes. But we cannot solely rely on a junior to help us with this Calamity. We'll do everything in our power to overcome this. Failure is not an option."
