He gets up straight sending the wine glass crashing into the floor broken into pieces.

Then he remembered his dream, he had the most terrifying dream ever for a long time!
He falls asleep holding the wine in his hand and dream of having sex with his sister-in-law and then Catherine comes and stabbed Caroline many times and committed suicide by slitting her throat. My God! There's too much gore and blood in his dream.
It was a horrifying scene and something that he will never forget for the rest of his life.
