Nan Zhi slammed the door shut after she entered the apartment building. Her slender back pressed roughly against the cold and hard door and she sank to the ground.

Her chest heaved crazily as she closed her eyes.
By the time she opened them again, her emotions had slowly calmed dow and the fire in her eyes had dulled again.
She could not let herself be enchanted by him again.
