Lu Lijun stayed still while holding Jiang Yuyan in his embrace and letting her sleep. He continued to caress her head to make her feel better.
In a while, there was a knock on the door and Xiao Min and An Tian entered the room. Lu Lijun looked at them and signalled them to be quiet. The two left the room, understanding that Jiang Yuyan was sleeping.
Once Lu Lijun felt steady breathing from her and made sure she was in a deep sleep, he slowly removed her hand that was surrounding her waist and moved away from her to get up. He went out of the room to meet An Tian who was there to check on her.
"How is she?" An Tian asked.
"Looks like as you say, she is scared of the past incident. When she didn't see me around she was anxious and tried to get out of bed. Maybe she was thinking that I am brother Qiang and…didn't want me to go away," Lu Lijun replied.
