Ming Lan continued to lay quiet while observing her husband's face, not willing to disturb his sleep. But she wondered how she should react and how he would react when he would open his eyes and see her so close to him.
'Shall I just immediately move back when he wakes up? But his hand is around me and I am so close.'
In a while, finally there was a movement as Ming Lan realised that Wen Zac was going to wake up. 'What should I do?'
Even before she could act, Wen Zac pulled his hand back which was surrounding her and was keeping her from moving at all. He moved away and lay on his back, entirely freeing Ming Lan from his hold, making enough space for her to move. He had his eyes closed as if he was still sleeping but had just changed his position.
