Jiu Wei waited for Baihu Sei to respond. His heart had been beating fast for a while as he didn't know what Baihu Sei would say hearing the good news.
Jiu Wei thought that Baihu Sei would somehow hug him out of happiness but then the woman didn't do anything. She just sat there motionless but tears suddenly gushed out of her pair of beautiful sapphire-like eyes. Her tears looked like small crystals under the dim light of the dining room.
Beautiful yet heart-wrenching at the same time.
Jiu Wei who saw this almost got a heart attack. He was so agitated that he immediately rushed to hug the woman. Circling his hand around Baihu Sei's waist, Jiu Wei spoke softly next to her left ear, "Don't cry...don't cry, okay?"
He didn't know what to do except hugging her tight. The man also patted Baihu Sei's back trying to stop her cry but his warm attention only made the woman cried even harder.
