Its hammer came down on my spear, lighting all the runes inside me and sending me back toward the wall, spewing out blood out of my mouth, mixed with the tiny pieces of my internal organs.
A clear surprise could be seen on the Grimms face; it might have expected its attack to send me splattering against the wall, seeing it was more powerful than the previous attack that had sent me flying hard.
It is all due to the quick changes I was able to make in time.
Regretfully, they will only help me bear its physical attack to a certain extent. So, I will only be able to fight offensively, which is fine too, considering whom I am fighting; not many people in High-Grandmaster class would survive.
