Nine people appeared in front of me, one after another, belonging to different races.
All of them are at either High-Primary III or Peak Primary III.
They all belong to the same team. The badge of their mercenary company is visible on their clothes.
"Have you seen the corrupted?" asked the leader, with a small silverly stumped horn on his head.
"No, but it is what brought me out of my abode; I had sensed its aura not long ago," I replied, without a hint of guilt in my eyes.
The leader stared at me for a couple of seconds, saying nothing, before turning to people.
"Search around, with its injuries. It shouldn't have run far," he commanded; they acknowledged and disappeared, while the leader turned back to me.
"Are you sure you have not seen it? You know there is a huge bounty on it. If you tell us, we will share some with you," he said, and my eyes hardened.
