This Diamond Scale cover is definitely not her Monster Ability, she may have Diamond Panda as her monster, but it is definitely not the ability it could give and top of that the texture is entirely different as abilities that humans received from their monsters bear a resemblance to their monsters ability.
And these diamond scales did not have any resemblance to her monster's ability except for being Diamond.
As for it being Mystic Method, I am doubting that despite it being an obvious choice, as only extremely rare defensive types Mystic Method could grant one such extraordinary defense, but for some reason, I doubt this is a Mystic Method.
As what could give one such exception defense except for the Mystic Method but I am really getting a strong feeling about it being something else rather than the Mystic Mystic.
