In fact, before coming to her room, he had already decided that he wouldn't let her face his mother's harsh words. It seemed that his mother wasn't going to have a change of heart anytime soon. And Wei didn't want to spend his precious time with Jia Li in Shanghai trying to cover up for the stubborn woman.
