After hanging up her call with Helen, Shera put her phone aside and continued playing chess with Ash.
"Are you sleepy?" She asked Ash after winning for the gazillionth time.
"No master. I took a nap earlier so I'm not sleepy at all." Ash said, blinking her itchy eyes and trying hard not to rub them. She was sleepy, but how could she dare to say it out aloud?
Paying no notice Ash's bloodshot eyes and her occassional slight yawns, Shera rearranged the chessboard. "Since you are not sleepy, let's play more. You will go to sleep once you win."
Ash was on the verge of fainting when she heard what Shera had said. Once she won? Wasn't that equal to saying that she would never sleep? How could she ever win against Shera, especially when the latter was in a good mood?
