Shera showed Katy around then let her mingle with the other guests. Leo conversed with Henry for a while longer before he finally went to find her.
"You are quite close to them." She observed.
Leo smiled cunningly. "They intend to expand Le Blanc Group into Olphire."
"And what's that got to do with you befriending them?" She had a guess, but she did not want to conclude it before he explained.
"They will need a building for the new branch, won't they? That's where having a friend in the construction field comes in."
Shera raised an eyebrow, impressed at his smooth tactics. Indeed, with Leo in the field, and since it was already obvious just how good his company was at it, the Blancs would not need to look any further.
She chuckled and gave him a sidelong glance. "We both dabble in that field, yet you so freely told me what you're planning. Aren't you scared I will try to steal the deal from you?"
