Amanda ignored Julius' phone calls no matter how many times he called. When she saw that he was too persistent, she simply blocked his contact number. She had nothing to talk about with a man who was going to take advantage of her trust to steal her hard work.
A few minutes later, the doorbell rang. It couldn't be any more obvious who was at the door. Amanda huffed. Since he did not want to give up, she would have to get rid of him.
"What do you want?" She asked as soon as she opened the door.
"Let's have a chat." He implored. "Let's go somewhere else."
Amanda thought about it and followed him out. When she saw him open the back passenger door of his car, she paused.
"You don't trust me?" He grinned when he saw that she was not making a move to enter the car.
