Countless thoughts flooded her mind.
Amid her thoughts, she opened a drawer and tool out an exquisite necklace.
The chain was made of valuable materials and the ornament was a pure heart-shaped diamond that must have cost a treasure. Just at a glance, one could see that from the design to the production, the creator had put in an unimaginable deal of effort.
Shera had only one word for it: invaluable.
It totally deserved all the attention the Qin Empire had made it garner.
[Hello master! Beep!] the stupid little lioness interrupted her thoughts.
Shera Black was instantly displeased as her mood darkened. "Didn't anyone tell you that it's rude to interrupt people?"

Shera stared at the little thing. "I'm still getting used to the fact that there's a stupid little pet in my brain. And now this stupid little pet wants to control me?"
Tazja was unfazed by how its master kept calling it a stupid little pet. It floated a few circles before producing a small manuscript out of nowhere. [If you do not complete your missions, I will be stuck in your brain forever. You don't want that, do you? Do you?] It made a few more beeps that could drive one crazy with fury.
Shera Black frowned at its attempt to annoy her into submission. "No problem. I'm used to your annoying beeps already. If that's the only consequence, I don't mind."

"Oh? And how do other villainesses end up?" Shera asked curiously.
Tazja gritted its teeth as though in fear. [Trust me, you do not wanna know.]
Shera rolled her eyes at its exaggeration. "I don't care what will happen to me."
Tazja looked like it had given up on hope. It should have known, Shera Black had no care for life, much less how she would die.
A while later, Shera seemed to recall what the stupid little thing had just said. She chuckled mockingly. "Make me a virtuous woman? My dear, your mission is too impossible."
[That's alright! I have done something more impossible before.]
Shera ignored the little lioness.

"Come on!" Even though she had just said that she was used to the beeping, no one could tolerate this. Not only that, the stupid little thing had increased the volume of its beeps.
[What? I'm thinking.] Tazja replied innocently.
"Didn't you say you don't have a brain?" Shera didnt forget this no matter how angry she was.
[I don't have a brain, but I do have a CDS. It works just like a brain.]
"Who cares whether it works like a brain? And what the heck is a CDS???" Shera Black asked in annoyance.

"Shut up already." Shera Black got up and went to her bedroom. She wanted nothing more than to sleep. For some reason, that little lioness seemed to exhaust her mind.
It wasn't surprising. There was a novel creature in her brain now. It would be surprising if nothing changed.
Shera went to bed, believing that the little creature would give up if she ignored it.
But she was wrong.
Tazja's level of annoyance was... much more impressive than she had expected.

Shera ignored it.

Shera covered her ears using a pillow. But could this really drown the noise in her brain?
Several annoying beeps later, the stupid little thing went quiet.
Shera Black finally drifted into sleep. Yet, just when she was about to fall completely asleep,

"Aaaah!" Shera was forced awake.
Her head felt like it was exploding.
This was the loudest thing she had ever heard! Not even an explosion was this loud.
She could still hear the aftermath of the noise minutes later. Damn it! Was this stupid thing trying to drive her crazy?

"No no no!!! Sigh, fine. What do I have to do?" One more beep and she would surely go mad. Although they were beeps, they sounded more like booms! Who would tolerate this? Even an announcement from space wouldn't be this loud!

"Decrease the damn volume!" Shera grabbed a pillow and threw it at Tazja. Then she realized what she had just done. She had just thrown a pillow across the room. Crap. Was she really going crazy? That idiotic little thing must have really damaged her brain!
