Ying snorted at Xiu's response, "This is exactly why I said you can't be blackened. You can only turn grey." Seeing Xiu's confused face, she went on, "You have the most gentle eyes and kindest hearts. People like you can only turn grey because, at the end of the day, you still have the most faith in love."
Xiu pouted her lips and gave her a disagreeing gaze.
Ying pinched her cheek and said, "Silly girl! Even your idea of torture is so petty."
"Did you just call me petty?" repeated Xiu and narrowed her eyes. "If I'm petty then so be it! I don't give a damn!"
"You're adorable when you're angry," said Ying with a chuckle and stood up while rubbing Xiu's head.
Xiu swatted her hand away saying, "Stop treating me like a kitten. This kitten can bite!"
