Ian leaned against the wall as he dialed Oliver's number. He was scared of the man's reaction. But he had no choice. How he wished for everything to be a nightmare, one which he could wake up from at the end, one where no one was hurt. Alas, it was all his wishful thinking.
With trembling hands, he held his phone and waited for the call to connect.
"Mr. West, this is Ian speaking." He swallowed his saliva as he tried hard to control his emotions but failed miserably.
"Ian. Is everything alright? Why are you calling me at this time of the night?" Oliver's tone was laced with exhaustion and sleep and Ian felt bad for him.
"And where are the others? I've been trying to contact Aria and Ivy. But I'm unable to reach them. Are you guys together?" Oliver questioned as he stifled a yawn.
