The entire family heard about Ivy gaining consciousness and the joy they felt was unprecedented. They couldn't stop smiling as relief and excitement filled them. It'd not be long before Ivy woke for real and just the mere thought about it was enough to make them giddy.
"Doctor, how is she? How's my daughter?" Oliver rushed to the doctor who was approaching them with reports in his hands.
The moment Ivy had woken up, they had performed some tests on her, the results of which were yet to be disclosed.
Oliver stared at the doctor expectantly and his smile only served to the old man to pin his hopes up.
"I have good news for all of you." The doctor chirped as he glanced at all the people who had assembled before him. "Ivy is showing signs of waking up and if my analysis is right, there is a high chance that she'll gain consciousness tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest."
