"Did you hear from Luiz?" Evelina asked Rio while checking her watch. That was the day her parents invited her friends to have lunch at their home. It had been a week since she last saw Luiz and she was hoping to see him again.
"Do you think he will come?" Evelina probed again, walking back and forth in their living room.
"He said he will," confirmed Rio. "But he won't stay long."
"Relax, Evelina. He will come," said Siena, her other friend. "Don't worry."
Evelina let out a heavy sigh, and she said, "It must be because of his best friend, that Nari girl."
"Of course, Evelina. We both know he had loved her for a long time. We got that out of him after he drank just four bottles of beer. I suggest you don't feel hurt about it. I doubt, he is ever changing his mind about her," told Rio.
