Chapter 16 - misunderstanding (again)

"A person's lack of control over their feelings can lead their heart's eyes astray!

-Woman at the Lowest Point-

Achiera sat in the hospital's bed while staring blankly out of the window, her gaze straight out of the way so that the arrival of Kaili, her best friend, was not caught.

"Achiera, how are you?" Kaili asked while sitting directly in front of Achiera to bring Achiera out of her reverie.

"Kaili, how do you know I'm here?" Achiera asked after waking up.

"Who knows that I will have a friend who will forget me if she already has a boyfriend, don't want to call me or reply to my texts. It turns out I'm not that important to her after she already has a boyfriend," Kaili said sarcastically.

"Don't say like that, let's say how do you know where I'm here?"  Achiera repeated.

"I called you many times, and you know who answered my calls? The young master who won your heart!! And he's the one who told me that you're here," Kaili replied while peeling the fruit he brought to her best friend.

"Who else? Do you have another man beside you? Not only that too, he asked me to look after you here because he has an important meeting this morning he said. The reason is that you haven't realized yet and he can't just leave you with the nurses here. But you know me, right? Without him even asking I will take care of you. "

"Hans asked you to take care of me because he was worried about me?" Achiera asked.

Kaili shrugged her shoulders in response to her ignorance.

"I don't know whether he's worried or not. He's just saying, he can't leave you alone," Kaili explained. "So what?" Now Kaili asked.

But Achiera was just silent and did not answer her friend, she was dumbfounded playing her own mind with various kind of questions that arose out of nowhere.

 Seeing her friend like that, Kaili was furious and immediately said;

"Never mind Achiera, don't think too much, that is not important at all. Eat this, so you get well soon!!" Kaili said while offering the fruit that had just peeled on the skin.

Hazel was really annoyed that Hans didn't come home, and Achiera didn't come home too. "Didn't he previously live here with Achiera? Did they escape?"

Questions like that filled Hazel's head.

Hazel went to Hans's office to check if Hans was there.  Arrogantly, she drew closer to the reception area and asked in her arrogant tone.

"I'm Hazel Emily, where is Hans's room?" She asked the receptionist.

"Sorry, have you made an appointment beforehand?" The receptionist asked back.

"Hey I'm Hazel Emily, isn't my name always heard in this office as the only woman Hans loves, so why do I have to make an appointment with my fiancé?" Hazel said smugly.

"I'm sorry miss, I have worked for many years at the Matthews Group company, but I have never heard of the president having a woman he loves named Hazel. This is the first time I have heard that name, and that also from the lady herself," The receptionist explained, friendly but loud.

Her anger rose, with emotion she landed a hard slap on the cheek of the receptionist.

Plakkk!!!

"How dare you to insult me, I'll fire you !!!"  Hazel shouted.

Hans secretary who saw all the shows from beginning to end, immediately rushed to Hans room and reported the incident.  Hans growled, and wanted to go take a look.

"What's going on here?" Hans asked coldly when he arrived in front of his company receptionist.

"Hans this employee insulted me and pushed me, you just fire her. She already hurt me!!!" Hazel sobbed and in that moment she fell.

"How can she push you?" Hans asked Hazel, tugging at her.

"I said, where is your room and she immediately angrily pushed me, that's why I fell," Hazel explained, still sobbing.

Hans clearly saw Hazel dropping herself, knowing Hazel was lying Hans was furious.

'Since when has this Hazel been so good at talking lies, without even taking a breath,' he thought.  He was gloomy at the thought.

"Hazel, you go first, I will take care of her problems myself. I can't just fire an employee, she's one of the best employees in my company," Hans said.

"Because she's one of the best employees, so wouldn't she be wrong? Or don't you trust me?"  Hazel asked, crying even more.

"No ... obviously I really trust you, this business is given to me. What do you need here?" Hans asked.

"Actually, I'm here to invite you to accompany me to check-up. Today is my check-up schedule, I'm afraid to go alone. You beside me will give me peace."

"Hazel, I have a meeting, just go with Liu, I'll catch up with you later," Hans said.

"Then, I'll wait for you to finish the meeting," Hazel said and immediately sat idle.

"Don't be like this, I have a lot of work. How about tomorrow I take you out for lunch instead? But now go check up with Liu," Hans persuaded.

"Okay, agree," Hazel said as she walked away.

"Miss Achiera, how are you?" Dexter asked when he just entered Achiera's room.

"I think I'm not sick anymore doc. When can I go home?"  Achiera turned around to ask.

"Yes, your medical results say you are getting better, you can go home today. But you still have to take some of these supplements and vitamins to speed up your healing," Dexter said.

"Okay doc, thank you very much," Achiera said sincerely.

"Achiera, call me Dexter. I'm a close friend of Hans, and I think we'll also be friends," Dexter said.

"Looks like you misunderstood me, I am nothing to Hans," Achiera said quietly.

"Yeah fine, but we can still be friends. So just call me Dexter, okay?" Dexter said in reply.

 Achiera only smiled a little.

"Achiera, I'll excuse myself, you better get ready and call Hans too so he can pick him up," Dexter said as he left.

"Fine, Dexter, thank you."  Achiera smiled.

Achiera stared straight at her cell phone, and wondered if it was necessary to call Hans to pick her up?  Isn't Hans mad at her right now?  Because ever since Kaili came, Hans didn't come to see her anymore.

"Ah, let it go, I don't want to make him angry even more. I better just tell Kaili so she can pick me up," Achiera said quietly.

She immediately pushed a few numbers, then called Kaili without delay.

Without waiting a long time for just one vibration, the call was immediately connected.

"What's wrong, Achiera? How are you?"

"I can go home today, are you busy? If not, may you please pick me up?"

"Really? Alright just wait for 15 minutes in there, I'll pick you up."

Tut. The call ended.

Dexter immediately contacted Hans as soon as he came out of Achiera's room earlier.

Hans, who was with Hazel, immediately said that he would pick up Achiera himself.  That certainly made Hazel angry, but Hans managed to persuade her again and now Hans and Hazel are on their way to the hospital where Achiera is being treated.

15 minutes passed as promised by Kaili, she arrived on time.  However, she was a little disappointed because on the trip, near the hospital, her car tire was leaking, and had been taken to the nearest workshop.

"Achiera I'm sorry, we'll just go home by taxi, we'll look in front of this hospital, my car tire was leaking," Kaili said, feeling guilty.

"Hmm, Kaili is not a big problem, don't make it difficult for you. We're looking for a taxi together," Achiera said, reassured her friend because Achiera really understood about Kaili.

After arranging the return letter and tidying up they went to the front entrance of the hospital to find a taxi.

From afar, Steven Scott saw Achiera and walked over to her.

"Miss gray?" Steven said when he arrived.

"What a coincidence to meet you in here, what are you doing in here? Who's sick?" Steven continued.

"She is sick, who are you?"  Kaili replied.

"Oh I'm Steven, I accidentally met Achiera a few days ago," Steven said to Kaili.  "Are you sick, Miss Gray?" Steven asked.

"I had fever Mr. Steven and now I'm fine," Achiera replied.

"Yes and now we want to go home, it's just that the taxi was not there from earlier," Kaili said again.

"Then, let me take you home how?" Steven offered.

Achiera quickly answered immediately. "Sorry Mr.Stev, that's not necessary. We don't want to bother you."

"Nobody bothered Achiera, you just got out of the hospital. You want to wait for a taxi here it will be very rare. If you are afraid, I will not take you to the front of the house, no one will know. This is for your good," Steven explained.

"Really Achiera, look at your cold sweat again. Let's just go with him," Kaili also persuaded.

 "Okay, I agree," Achiera said.

The three of them walked towards Steven's car park which was in front not far from where they were waiting for a taxi.  Steven volunteered to carry Achiera's belongings and led Achiera while holding Achiera's shoulder.

Hazel saw this from the car as soon as she got to the hospital, and told Hans.

"Hans, isn't that Achiera? Who is that man? They seem very close and it looks like that man is not an ordinary person, just look at the things he wears, starting from clothes, shoes and watches," Hazel said.

Without answering Hazel's sneer, Hans suddenly braked suddenly, without a word, he got out of his car and headed straight towards Achiera.

Roughly he pulled Achiera out of Steven's car and Steven prevented it immediately.

"Can you be a little gentle with women, she just recovered," Steven said quietly but firmly.

Hans immediately threw a hard punch in Steven's face. "How many times have I told you, stay away from my woman! Why do you keep clinging?" Hans said, hitting Steven again.

Achiera who saw this immediately prevented Hans when Hans was about to hit Steven again, but bad luck happened when Achiera prevented Hans.  Accidentally the punch landed on Achiera.

Achiera fell down unable to support her body, and at the same time a motorbike that was speeding fast hit Achiera, suddenly a stench of blood covered the place.
