"I killed him. This is my fault," Nana said as she sobbed against Tan's shoulder.
"No, you didn't. His greed killed him. Suppose he hadn't involved himself with all of them, he wouldn't have gotten caught up in this. Besides, how would you have known Ji-Tae was capable of such evil?" Tan asked, trying to calm her.
"If he could have done all that to Min-Jung, then I should have guessed he is capable of even worse," Nana said as Tan wiped the tears from her eyes with his fingers.
"Focus on the bright side. With this single action of his, we've been able to obtain evidence against him. He might not have gone to jail for all he did against Min-Jung since she is still alive, but he will definitely go to jail for this. We have all the evidence we need to send him to jail for murder," Tan promised her.
