On a closer look, she saw that it was a mermaid. A very beautiful mermaid at that. She wasn't like every other mermaid that she had seen that day. She was different, very different. Astrid did not know why but she felt ]being drawn to know more about this particular mermaid.
That and something about the way she was dressed that clearly differentiated her from the rest made Astrid more curious.
'What are you sneaking about, eh? Tsk looks to me like a secret is about to be unraveled."
Being the ever-curious impatient hybrid that she was, she ticked her tongue and swam in the direction where she saw the mermaid just left.
'Here goes nothing, Astrid. Time for some adventure.'
