CHAPTER 609 - You Can't Give Up
Astrid fell right back into bed, ignoring every other thing while she reasoned if her fate was all but just meant to be deprived and whether her family was cursed or something.
Her grandfather lost her grandmother.
Her mother lost her father even before they got the chance to get married and now she and Blade are broken before they got a chance to form a relationship.
No matter how she thought about it, she felt they were more or less cursed with sadness in their lives, especially with the war.
However, while that may be true on some different levels, she was going to break it in more ways than one.
Whether her mother liked it or not, she was determined to be with Blade, even in death.
"Astrid, you need to know, that you can't give up. Under any circumstance can you," Nerissa's voice pulled her out of her thoughts.
