"Dad are you okay?" Sophie quietly asked with concern evident in her voice.
Duke Peterlor leaned back against his chair and picked up the cup of tea that was in front of him. He took a small sip and tasted the bitter liquid inside the cup.
He opened his mouth to say something but slowly closed it since he couldn't find the right words to say.
Sophie had met his wife.
Duke Peterlor's fingers trembled slightly and the tea inside the cup shook from side to side. The youngest god stage cultivator in the Federation had never felt so powerless before.
