The day was over and the moon had come up in the sky in a flash. With no one noticing the time, it was time to leave the office and call it a day.
"Hey, where's Ivan?" Zoey frowned as soon as Angelo entered her office. She asked him to look for him as they had a party to attend to.
However, it was already one hour after she gave out the order and Ivan was nowhere to be found. They had searched each and every corner of the building, but to no avail. Zoey and Angelo tried reaching him, but he wasn't answering before he turned off his phone.
"Unfortunately," Angelo sighed and shook his head lightly. "The employees said they saw him leaving the building earlier today."
"Geez! What the hell is he thinking?" Zoey grumbled while grinding her teeth. "If he didn't want to escort me, he could've said so."
