The cell phone that was kept on the nightstand rang. Elina saw that Jayden had left Jennifer's phone behind. The caller displayed an unknown number. Melissa picked the call as the phone was near to her reach.
"Jayden, when are you coming back?" An impatient voice came through the phone.
"He is not here. If you have a message then I can pass it to him when I see him." Melissa said.
"Who are you? Where is Jayden?" Jennifer asked.
"Who are you? And why are you asking about him?"Melissa inquired.
"Are you the girl who Jayden took inside the room and locked the door behind?"
"Yes, I am. So what?"
"Are you Melissa?"
"Are you Jennifer?"
"Yes"
"Yes"
"Very well"
"Very well"
Elina watched their hostile conversation from the sides. As they both stopped talking to each other after their 'Very well', she stepped forward and took the phone from Melissa.
