On the hospital bed, a tiny body was covered by a thick quilt.
Zhai Yunsheng sat on the edge of the bed. He lowered his head to look at a tired little face.
"You should sleep for a while. After that, you can deal with other matters." Zhai Yunsheng said softly to Jian Yiling.
"Mhmm," Jian Yiling replied before she closed her eyes.
She knew that Zhai Yunsheng would stay beside her. He wouldn't leave her.
After napping for around an hour, Jian Yiling slowly woke up.
When she opened her eyes, she immediately saw Zhai Yunsheng.
He was still maintaining the same position as before.
"Are you awake now?"
"Mhmm."
"Are you hungry?"
"Mhmm."
"You can eat soon. I asked someone to go and get you something to eat."
"Mhmm."
Jian Yiling replied "Mhmm" three times in a row. It was as though she would obediently say yes to whatever she got asked.
And thus, Zhai Yunsheng asked: "Then let me give you a kiss?"
