Nate and Fannie argued again, but the atmosphere became much more relaxed, and Kylie helped Ethan eat some soup.
"Does Vincent have any news?" Ethan asked for information on Clown once he felt a little better.
Nate raised his broken leg and shook it. "Look at my leg. Couldn't I have a break?"
"If you have a break for a minute longer, there is another magical pill sold," Ethan said.
"Fine, I'll call him now," Nate snorted and took out his phone from Fannie's pocket.
"No need. Let's go over together." Ethan stood up.
"Ethan!" Kylie stopped him. "You still have a fever."
She didn't dare mention how terrible his condition was right now but was worried all the time.
Ethan smiled, then kissed Kylie. "I'm fine."
"But..." Kylie was unwilling to let him leave.
"I'll be back home as soon as possible." Ethan glanced at Nate.
