"No, Lord Nate didn't give me money." Faith blurted it out, then covered her mouth at once. "Um, I'm sorry, Kylie. Lord Nate did have met me, but I do want to stay by your side."
Kylie wore an embarrassed smile, hearing her talking.
"No matter what evidence they have, I trust you!" Faith added. "Whatever you want to do, I can help you keep it a secret from them. I mean it!"
Kylie took out an envelope from her handbag. She placed it in front of Faith. "There are 20 thousand dollars inside. It's enough for you to live a good life before Ken comes out to jail."
Seeing Kylie walking away, Faith stood up in a hurry. "Kylie, think about it!"
Kylie stopped for a second, then strode ahead.
There were all women's clothing counters on the three floors above. Kylie walked around for a while, then stepped towards the ladies' room.
A short while later, a figure flashed into it as well.
