There was no dirt at all.
"You..." Kylie raised her head and ran into Ethan's dangerous eyes. "Did you just test me?"
Ethan snorted, "Tell me."
Kylie drew her sight back and did her best to stay calm. "What do you want me to tell you, or what do you want to hear?"
"Are you helping Stephen?" Ethan asked. He couldn't ignore it when he found out solid proof. "Why did he let you come back?"
Kylie didn't know how to answer that question.
Ethan was already suspicious of her when she told Ethan it was Tory who had rescued her and Dinah last time. Although it was the truth, Kylie had promised Tory that she wouldn't tell anyone the deal they made with each other.
It wasn't because she didn't trust Ethan, but because she was afraid he might ruin the plan if he knew what she was going to do.
Kylie stood up. She picked her sleeping gown, walking to the bathroom, but a big palm stopped her by pressing her shoulder.
