"Hello. I am Jin Yinghui."
Lu Chenjun tilted his head to the side, observing Jin Yinghui from head to toe.
"What do you want?" Lu Chenjun's voice was just like his face and his demeanor, cold and unfriendly.
Jin Yinghui kept her smile, "Nothing. I just wanted to make friends with Mr. Lu. You can call me Elena. I will be starring as the second female lead in the drama you are sponsoring, Original Sweet, so I wanted to come and say hi."
"Well, you said hi already, so you can leave."
Elena's smile stiffened midway on her face and she nodded.
"Well, I'll see you around. Goodbye, Mr. Lu."
Elena politely nodded her head and walked away. Lu Chenjun's gaze followed her as she left. Having seen many beautiful women in his life, this was the first time that he was amazed by a woman's looks.
It's a shame that he doesn't like women that take the initiative. He took a sip of the wine and got ready to leave. He wasn't going to waste his precious time at some stupid, unknown party.
Elena walked back to Mila, her eyes shooting daggers at anyone who looked at her. She hadn't been rejected by anyone, especially a guy, in a long time. Mila, on the other hand, was scared to death. Her heart almost jumped out of her throat as she asked Elena how it went.
"I got rejected." Elena didn't even bother to explain more as she picked up her second glass of wine today, and took a sip. The wine tasted different now. It tasted sour and cheap.
Elena turned to Mila and unpleasantly said, "Let's go home. This party is so boring. I'll treat you to instant ramen."
Mila shrugged and followed Elena out the front door. If it had been anyone else, they would have been amazed to hear that Elena, the Nation's Princess, with her skinny and lean body, would eat ramen at 10 o'clock in the night.
After returning to the hotel they were staying in, Mila joined Elena in her room, and Elena started to cook ramen. Elena really enjoys cooking and baking, but due to her busy schedule, she doesn't really have time to cook or eat.
She was changed into comfortable pajamas and hummed while cooking the ramen, the rejection completely gone from her mind. She fried two eggs and placed it on top of the boiling noodles
"Mila! The ramen is ready. Come and eat!"
Elena was excited as she hadn't eaten ramen in a while. She took out two bowls and immediately filled hers up. Mila skipped to the dining table and gasped at what she saw before her.
"How many bags of ramen did you cook?"
Elena looked up with innocent eyes, ramen hanging out of her mouth. She sucked the ramen in with a loud slurping noise, and said while picking up more noodles, "Only four bags."
Mila opened her eyes widely and stared at Elena eating her noodles, "Four bags! We only have two people. You are filming a drama soon. You will look bloated on screen."
Elena shrugged and said, "It's okay. I still have two days until Monday. The bloating will disappear like these noodles. Sit down and eat. It's really good."
Elena picked up a fried egg and began munching, muttering to herself about how her cooking skills had improved.
"Since we still have one day left to hang around tomorrow, do you want to go shopping? I have never been shopping in Jin Province before." Elena seemed to be in a good mood right now, despite just being rejected.
Although Mila was still kind of concerned about Elena eating so much at such a late time, at hearing the word shopping, Mila happily agreed. She picked up a fried egg and some ramen and decided that since her diet failed today, she would start tomorrow.
It was 11 in the morning, and the sun was shining on all of the Jin Province. Elena and Mila were walking around the Jin Shopping Mall, the largest mall in the entire province.
The ramen must have made Elena very happy, as her good mood carried on from yesterday to today. When the ice cream they had bought in the mall accidentally dropped onto Mila's new shoes, Elena's genuine laughter almost made Mila believe that they had gone back in time.
Mila and Elena had been best friends since they were young. Elena was a very happy and energetic girl until she turned 13. Her sister, Jin Yingmo, became jealous of Elena's feminine body and beautiful face, and began provoking alienation between Elena and their parents.
Since Elena got kicked out of her house at the age of 18, her whole personality changed. She rarely smiled, and the only thing she cared about and wanted was success. She worked hard day and night and was able to debut with three years of training. After debuting, she immediately recommended Mila to be her assistant, who was surprised at the change in Elena's personality. . .
Still, after Elena finished laughing, they were forced to clean up the mess they had made on the clean floor.
As they were cleaning up and Elena was laughing at Mila's complaints about her shoes, from afar, Lu Chenjun was watching.

On the highest floor of the LIQuan Company building, the 52nd floor, Lu Chenjun was immersed in his piles of work he had to complete. While he was reading through some information about a small company they were going to purchase, he heard a knock at the door.
"Come in."
Lu Chenjun's assistant, Fang Shi, walked in.
"Mr. Lu. The director of the Jin Shopping Mall called. He would like you to quickly meet you there to talk about some business matters."
"You go for me." Lu Chenjun had a huge pile of workload to complete and didn't have the spare time to go strolling around in a mall, talking with some small director.
"But the director told me that the matter was important and you should go."
Lu Chenjun looked up and glared at Fang Shi. Fang Shi immediately stopped moving, standing still like a statue. He looked down, afraid to make any eye contact with Mr. Lu.
"Let's go."
Lu Chenjun grabbed his phone and marched out the door, not even waiting for Fang Shi. Fang Shi let out a sigh of relief and immediately ran out to catch up to Mr. Lu.
In the car, Lu Chenjun couldn't help but think about the woman yesterday. Not only has he never seen a woman as beautiful as her, but few also had the courage to come up and strike a conversation with him. Even if they did, most of them would immediately get touchy, trying to seduce him into going to bed with them.
