By unbearable, what she meant was the undying dead air that started looming over the three of them right after Venus seconded her motion earlier - regarding that speech about him being a douchebag, that is. Once again, she found him inscrutably tamed and silenced the instant her other half dropped her explosive rants.
Lance did not further any utterance right then. He just went back to being reserved and unapproachable.
