At the very moment Eli disappeared from everyone's sight, she opened her eyes once more but only to find herself in an everlastingly stretching darkness.
She feels like she's floating in air with how light her body is. The excruciatingly painful lashes she received from Captain Minerva are still evident in some of her throbbing and aching body parts. But even then, she just endures them and continues on with her current endeavor.
Her everything that time seems to have emerged with pitch blackness. Though that may be the case, she can still view the battlefield outside. She can see that her disappearance threw everyone to sixes and sevens once again.
That's when she suddenly feels a pair of arms slowly embrace her from the back, but as she looks, she finds no one there. It seems to be an imperceptible entity - like it's the very darkness itself.
