At the end of a tunnel was another room, similar to the one that she came from.
Cages cramped, dimly lit and damp. These cages had prisoners in them but neither were they animals nor of the human variety.
Instead, they were demons.
Were demons also kidnapping and selling their own kind? Ariunbayar didn't find that too surprising. She walked between the cage, earning glaring eyes.
Some snarled at her or shot her curses, unknowing that she wasn't part of those that imprisoned them there.
Ariunbayar had no care for their taunts. She was too busy wondering if it was also part of her quest to free demons. From what she understood, she was supposed to help the human prisoners and also probably slay the mastermind behind this whole operation.
But she still didn't know where the humans were held.
