There was a totem atop a small cliff. Spiraling rocks placed around it with fluttering flags of various colors. Ariunbayar's people used totems like these to guide them back home and now she would use this very same place to return to whence she came.
Yu Yanlin stayed back, feeling that it wasn't really his place. The three got off their steeds and Ariunbayar turned around, her mouth open but she didn't say a word. She looked at the demon king and wordlessly ran up to him for a hug.
Yu Yanlin was startled by her actions, for he did not understand what was truly meant to transpire here. Awkwardly, he gave her a light pat on the back, his head veering in Zhang Wang's direction in question.
