If the God of Mountain Roads was perturbed at crashing into the Palace, he didn't show it, too busy yelling at his goats for the missing kids. The goats glared back at him, with equal parts confusion and exasperation for there were no missing kids as far as they were concerned.
Han Guming and Tian Lan watched the scene unfold, hidden within thick shrubs.
"Okay, let's get out of here," Tian Lan said callously, not considering the God of Mountain Roads' situation at all.
Han Guming nodded, satisfied with the outcome of their tomfoolery. Just as they were about to slip out of sight and away from the mess that they have caused, a looming presence made itself known from behind.
Both Han Guming and Tian Lan froze.
"Erm…please tell me that I'm imagining this dark evil presence behind us. Surely it cannot be real. Surely no such terribleness could arise from the bosom of the Celestial Cradle."
