Chapter 9 - A Plan with the Demons

The Queen looked down at Mia pleased with her determination. The Queen even stood up to acknowledge Mia. "Please rise, Miss Mia." The Queen said as she made her way down to meet Mia. "Before we only fought a defensive war, defending ourselves from foreign attackers, but now with Mia on our side we will be able to stop the corrupt human church once and for all!" She announced to cheers from the demons in the area. "Miss Mia, do you know why we have not attacked the humans?"

"Everything I know is a lie from the church." Mia acknowledged. "Even if I knew the answer it would be wrong. Actually, I was taught that you terrorized the human settlements."

"It's good that you know that you know nothing." The Queen smiled. "We have never attacked a human city or town. That is not to say the Goddess has not ventured out and decided to play with them from time to time. But we demons have only defended ourselves from you humans." The Queen placed her hand on Mia's shoulder. "Please call me Morain, Miss Mia."

"Yes, my queen, Morain." Mia answered.

"No, no, just Morain. I do hate stuffy titles, that earlier was all for show." Morain smiled. "I do love giving Lucy a hard time."

   "My Queen…" Lucell started.

"Now before you go complaining Lucy, remember it was the Goddess herself that gave you this name." Morain interrupted Lucell. "Now back to the matter at hand. Mia we never attacked the humans because we would win."

   "Wait, what?" Mia was puzzled.

"It would be quite easy to overpower such a weak opponent." Morain continued. "Our problem lied in the after. We do not seek to rule over humans, or to subjugate them. When we won the humans would need a new leadership structure, someone that could bring them to prosperity. Everything since the moment I saw you attack the Goddess has led to this point."

   "You planned this?" Mia asked.

"Well of course, things like this don't just happen by chance!" Morain laughed. "We had the Goddess leave with you because I knew that you would find each other. I also knew that you are new to your gender would cause great problems for you. That was a nice kick by the way. I knew that the Goddess would eventually play too rough and that you would find the only logical solution of bringing her back to the forest. Finally, I knew that Lucy would bring you straight to me once you got here. Didn't expect you naked though, but with the Goddess these things happen."

Both Lucell and Mia were flabbergasted. The sheer level of detail that went into that plan was frightening. "My Queen I had no idea Miss Mia was so important to you." Lucell stated. "Forgive my ignorance for not being able to see your grand plans in motion."

"But all that for me why?" Mia was curious. "I was just a pawn for the church."

"Because you were the hero." Morain started. "Not all of the humans are evil. Some just believe the lies they are told. Should they see their hero return as a woman with the aid of the Goddess and an army of demons, let us just say that would be a divine sight to behold. I needed you because you can be a symbol to the disheartened and bring about a change in the human world. It had to be you." Morain smiles at Mia.

"Well I am willing to do everything I can." Mia responded. "However, this body is still so weak, I cannot really fight."

"Oh, I remember the embarrassment of the bed and the push-ups." Morain laughed. "You were trying to train like a man, even though you are a woman now." Morain eyes one of her generals. "Sabrina come over here."

"Sure thing." Sabrina said as she walked over to Mia and Morain.

"You shouldn't speak to your queen in such a casual manner!" Lucell interjected.

"Can it Lucy, try to get the stick out of your ass for once." Sabrina teased. "Let me guess you want me to train this little shrimp? Doesn't have an ounce of muscle on her."

Morain then whispered in Sabrina ear all the things the Goddess did to Mia's body over that two-week span. As Morain let loose every detail Sabrina's face contorted in horror. "And that's why I'd like you to train her!" Morain finished loud enough for everyone to hear.

Sabrina was still pale from the details Morain had given her. She placed both of her arms on Mia's shoulders bowing her head to Mia. "I'm so sorry!" Sabrina then raised her head with a smile on her face. "Let's be friends ok?"

Mia was quite puzzled at Sabrina's response and wondered what Morain told her. "So, you'll teach me then?" Mia asked.

"Oh yeah short stack, you can just call me Grand Master Ultra Trainer Sensei Sabrina." Sabrina teased.

Mia bowed her head in respect. "Yes, Grand Master Ultra Trainer Sensei Sabrina! Please train me well!"

Sabrina then burst out laughing. "Oh, I like her! You can just call me Sabrina, short stack." Sabrina wipes the tears from her eyes, she had laughed so hard she teared up. "Your training begins tomorrow make sure you get some rest tonight. Speaking of rest, where is short stack staying?"

"I believe Miss Mia is staying with the Goddess." Lucell answered.

"Lucy could you please take Mia to the Goddess's residence." Morain asked.

"For you, my queen I would do anything." Lucell said as he left with Mia.

Upon reaching the Goddess's residence Lucell knocks on the door. "Goddess, I have brought miss Mia back to you."

"Who?!" Vanessa shouted through the door.

"Your Sir Knight, my Goddess." Lucell answered.

With that the door flung open showing a still naked Goddess with both her arms raised to the sky. "Sir Knight!" She yelled. "I am so happy you made it back to me!" She leans in close to Mia and whispers "I heard what happened in the court, don't worry I got you!" Vanessa then winked at Mia in an extremely obvious manner. "Oh, Lucy I don't have room for my Sir Knight in my little home. Can sir knight stay at your house?"

"My Goddess, I do not have a guest bed, nor do I have a guest room." Lucell complained.

"Even better!" Vanessa shouted. "Ok so it's settled, Sir Knight I want you to stay with Lucy, okay?" Vanessa gave Mia another big wink.

Mia was completely bewildered by all this and had no idea what the Goddess was doing. Although Lucell seemed like he was an alright guy and would not try to take advantage of the situation. It was also probably safer than staying with the Goddess, there was no telling what she would do while Mia was sleeping. "I accept." Mia said.

"But, Ah oh well." Lucell said, accepting his defeat. "Come along Miss Mia, I suppose you will be staying with me. As the Goddess commands."
