"Dakota, we need to get to the cabin... now!" I yelled as we sped down the road, seeing that Crystal had passed out.
"Why did she want to go to the cabin and not the hospital?" Dakota asked, going as fast as he dared without having an accident.
I shook my head. "I'm not sure. Maybe magic can do something more than modern medicine can."
But whatever Crystal had planned, we were racing against time and we all knew it. It was a matter of life and death. I just hoped that Tiara knew what to do.
Once we got there, Mark lifted her easily into his arms, carried her inside, and laid her on the table.
"Since it's venom from a supernatural being, it's going to take a spell to lift it," Tiara said, checking her aunt's pulse.
"Vampire blood heals," I said. "Since she's a hybrid, won't the vampire blood in her system heal her?"
