"Where would you like to go?" Dakota asked as we pulled out of Serina's driveway.
Actually, I loved Serina's house, nestled in the forest. My wolf wanted to run. I would never leave if I had my choice.
"Let's go to my house. We need to talk to my dad about this. Maybe he has another theory," I said, looking out the window at the lush green scenery. It was hard to believe that this place would be filled with color and then barren, completely white and gray, in just a few short months. But I planned to enjoy the rest of the summer for as long as it lasted.
Dakota nodded. "Sounds good."
"Do you know what the new guy's name is?" I asked. "I hate to have to keept calling him 'the new guy'."
Dakota nodded. "Necos Sumas. He's in my biology class."
My head snapped up. "Do you think that you could be his partner or something? Get to know him?"
