Dakota was waiting for me in his pickup truck the next morning when I left the house to go to school. "How are you this morning?"
I smiled, giving him a long, lingering kiss as he held open the passenger side door for me. "Better, now that I've seen you." I climbed into his truck and sighed. "Why didn't you come by last night?"
He closed my door and climbed into the driver's seat a moment later. Then he looked over at me and gave me a sexy grin. "I thought you wanted some time to yourself."
"Never." I slid next to him on the bench seat and leaned my head against his, enjoying being so close to him.
He cranked the engine and we were on the road, headed toward school, a moment later. Then he looked over and gave me a cocky grin. "Besides, I needed a decent night's sleep... away from your snoring."
I scoffed, smiling. "I do not snore!"
