To XueYa's surprise, Madam Mu hadn't aged a day. No longer did she wear a heavy layer of powder, her smooth, silken skin bare and breathing. She was now dressed in muted pastel colours, appearing happier than ever before.
The island of lust no longer lived up to its name. Gone were the days of drunken pirates and merchants stumbling over the streets. The buildings had been repurposed, made into homes for some of the pirates that had moved away from the island of Wushu before its eventual destruction, living a humble, peaceful life with their shifter mates.
Madam Mu's brothel had been turned into a teahouse, with the back area now a home for her and her husband.
