The emergency room door was unlocked. Jiang Ruolan slowly pushed it and looked around the room. There were many instruments arranged here, except for the clean white bed across the window. Xian Zihao lay there silently, and the sound of the door opening did not wake him up.
Her heart seemed to grip as she walked slowly closer to him and saw his pale face. Xian Zihao's usually calm and composed face looked a little tired.
As Jiang Ruolan approached him, she realized that his breathing was much lighter than usual.
