It was dark. There was not a single crack of light in the darkness. It's been hours of endless darkness.
Jiang Ruolan's eyes were wide open, but all she could see was pitch-black. From the intense struggle when she had just woken up a few hours ago to the moment she lost all her strength, all she could do was lie there motionless.
Jiang Ruolan could feel that she was lying on a rather wide bench, her hands behind her back, tied tightly with ropes. Her legs, too, were tied to the end of the bench, and no matter how hard she struggled, she couldn't move at all. There was something sealed on her lips. Just like that, she was locked up in this dark place.
