Lucy removed the hood of the cloak she had, revealing her face in awe.
"What is it?"
The queries of Elliot garnered her attention and snapped out of her seriousness. She kept her hands busy from all the fidgets on the hem of her skirt while her head hung low, but her gaze landed to the side from time to time.
Lucy's sudden reaction piqued his interest, tracing her gaze by the pavement. With a glance sideways, it was Chloe as she brisked her way against the tide of people, flowing back and forth.
'What is she doing over there? Why in such a hurry amidst the crowd?'
Chloe was like risking her life, trying to save herself from the verge of drowning. Elliot, naturally, wasn't unbothered until Lucy reached for his knee with a prod.
"Uhm, please, may we let her enter here?"
Elliot now propped his knuckle under the chin as he gave it some thought.
