"You mean to tell me you came to realize who you were that time when you reached the 'Prismatic Sea' that time?!" Elliot slammed both palms on the table.
"The crisis and doubts I've felt for so long thinned out right in front of me, at least; I feel like I got the direction I wanted to take."
"You mean those crazy dreams, right?"
Michael peered downwards, then back to Elliot as soon as he propped his chin on his interlaced fingers. "Agreed."
"But then..."
Michael fixed his gaze back at him. "Then what?"
"But you're also confused."
"That is, indeed, true." Michael bobbed his head away from him, groaning in frustration. "It was but a fraction of the whole episode; it was like an entire scroll that had filled with missing paragraphs— a lot of details went blank that was hard to decipher."
The tension rose between them when the silence overtook, and the prince nodded gravely in response.
"What took you so long to realize?"
