"Those men back in the forest?" Anasthasia mused, in which Liam took by surprise. He gulped hard, unable to look at her gaze. "Those pesky men; they don't know where to give up. Go on."
She lit up a bright flame on the manacles, chaining him up. From a bright glow of the metal she pushed her other palm, and a burst of frigid air coalesced onto its surface. The cracking sounds of ice melded with the brittleness of the chains, shattering it in no time.
Liam kneaded the temples of his forehead, grumbling, "At first, we were in pursuit… Stumbled upon Jack—yet he helped... and Levi… Right! Where is Levi?!"
"He's in good hands now, we rushed our way here, with Jack's help, to look for you and Michael." Anasthasia muttered softly as she continued to break the chains with her fire power.
