What am I supposed to do?
How can I beat them when they're not even real? If Ignacio really wanted me to win, shouldn't he have told me something about how to do it? A hint, maybe?
First, let's take a deep breath and think straight. Though Ignacio didn't tell me how to beat them, he did tell me to find the core of the tree. It's the place where black magic has infiltrated, killing the tree. If I could find it and purify it from black magic, the tree would come back to life, which is my ultimate goal. If I want to purify the tree, I should beat the black magic corrupting it first before I do so.
I gulped down the lump in my throat, stealing glances at the two people around me. Upfront is my father, and behind me is my mother. This must be the work of black magic. It used the two things that I adored and feared the most, attacking me with them to make me waver and fall into its grasp.
I shouldn't let it get the best of me.
