A room that once felt like a castle to a young girl, who once dreamed to be a princess. A large bed for the little girl, with pink walls and a pink sky to chase her bad dreams away. The dolls in the room were her companions, her enemies, and her prince. Such a loved princess I once was.
It is a place that I had almost forgotten, had it not been for this day. John gave me my old room—the room I used to live in when my mother was still around. It was filled with the things I used to love as a young girl—things that don't quite resonate with me now. It feels as though I am using someone else's room, and that someone has been long dead.
