As if she sensed my presence, she turned around and looked me in the eyes with a bright smile on her face. When I saw her face, I could barely notice the roses around us, for she was the most beautiful flower in the garden.
She was sitting on the ground, accompanied by a few sprigs of roses in front of her, some of which were more intact than the others.
"What did you do today?" I asked, sitting beside her.
She handed me one of the less intact roses from the ground and pointed to the burn marks on the petals. The roses were half-burned, and it appeared that they had not been burned as a whole but rather petals by petals.
"You were practicing magic?"
She nodded.
"Tutu and Shrink were here too, but I don't know where they ran off to now." Thank goodness.
