I know it wasn't a good idea to travel at night, but I couldn't stop thinking about Maya's words. I put my overnight bag at the back of my car together with my laptop. I know I should not be working in San Antonio, but I have so many reports that I need to finish, so I decided to bring my work home. But I was hoping that my boyfriend would ask me to stay at the Hernandez hacienda this weekend. I couldn't wait to go there as his official girlfriend because I was always there as Maya's best friend.
I was wearing a miniskirt and sleeveless tank top, but I covered it with a white blazer. I wear high heels because I want to feel sexy. I left the parking lot with a wide grin on my face, and before I reached the boundary between the city and the first town going to San Antonio, I called my best friend. I wanted to surprise Ben, so I didn't answer his calls and text messages, and I couldn't wait to see him.
